Dr Thiru Sudarshan - Consultant Radiologist
Dr Thiru Sudarshan is a Consultant Radiologist based at Ninewells Hospital and Medical School, Dundee, Scotland. He is a fellow of the Royal college of Radiologists and European board of Head and Neck Radiology. . Dr Sudarshan’s specialist interest is in Head and Neck Radiology. His other interests include cardiac imaging. His clinical practice includes ultrasound, CT and MRI imaging of various conditions involving the salivary glands, thyroid, sinuses, pharynx, larynx and temporal bones, cardiac imaging, abdominal imaging, gynaecological imaging and PET CT imaging.
He is actively involved in research and has had more than 50 presentations at international meetings and more than 20 publications in peer reviewed international journals. He is a member of the Neuroradiology section of the Educational exhibits committee of the by Radiological Society of North America meetings. He was previously the Neuroradiology lead for Case of the presentations at Radiological Society of North America meetings. He was conferred the Honoured Educator Award 2016 by Radiological Society of North America. He’s been invited faculty at several courses and conferences and has extensive experience in teaching.
